Alias Lingo: Guess & Speak (“we,” “our,” “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app you consent to the practices described below.

Alias Lingo is a party word‑guessing game. The app does not require an account, does not collect your name, address, contacts, photos, or microphone input. The data we receive is limited to:
- Diagnostics — crash reports, performance data, device model and OS version. Used to fix bugs and improve stability. Not linked to your identity.
- Anonymous usage analytics — aggregate events such as “game started”, “category selected”, “purchase completed”. Used to understand which features are used. Not linked to your identity.
- Purchase records — in‑app purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We only learn the SKU you purchased and the transaction status, never your payment details.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide and maintain the app’s functionality.
- Diagnose crashes and improve performance.
- Understand which features are popular so we can invest in the right improvements.
- Fulfil and restore in‑app purchases.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers. The app does not display third‑party advertisements.
3. Third‑Party Services
We use the following service providers, each acting under their own privacy policies:
- Apple StoreKit — handles all in‑app purchases. We never see your payment details.
- Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (Google) — anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting. Google Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Remote Config — lets us toggle in‑app features without shipping a new build; transmits no personal data.
4. Data Security
Data in transit uses HTTPS. Data at rest with our providers is protected by industry‑standard encryption. No system is perfectly secure; we work to keep yours safe.
5. Your Choices and Rights
- Opt out of analytics — disable “Share iPhone Analytics” in iOS Settings, or contact us to request that we exclude your installation.
- Access, correct, delete — to request a copy or deletion of any data tied to your installation, email us (see Contact below). We respond within 30 days, as required by GDPR and CCPA.
- Restore purchases — the app supports restoring previous purchases through Apple StoreKit.
6. Children’s Privacy
Alias Lingo is rated 13+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Data Retention
- Crash and diagnostic data — retained up to 90 days, then aggregated.
- Anonymous analytics — retained up to 14 months, then aggregated.
- Purchase records — retained as required for tax and audit purposes.
8. International Users
Alias Lingo is available worldwide. By using the app, you consent to data being processed by Apple and Google in the countries where they operate. For users in the EU we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses provided by these vendors.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective Date” above. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
